The creative services department assists Cedarville University's faculty, staff, and students in accomplishing their creative communication objectives. Through print and online resources, we tell the Cedarville story in strategic, meaningful, and creative ways.
Print Production
In an effort to keep production costs low, all print projects are quoted to multiple vendors, including Postal and Print Services. Communication regarding deadlines and delivery are handled by Creative Services. Invoices are verified and sent to the responsible department for payment. Refer to Print Vendor Resources to learn how to be considered as a print vendor.
Video
Video services are available for projects related to external marketing projects. Due to limited resources not all video project requests can be granted. Video project requests are granted based on audience, availability of resources, value added to the University, and scope of the project. Contact the Creative Director to discuss all video requests.
Creative Brainstorming
The Creative Services staff can be available as a creative resource for nontraditional projects as time allows. Contact the Creative Director to schedule a meeting to brainstorm an event theme, office remodel, campus experience, or any other box you need help thinking outside of.
Proofing and Editing
All design and web projects managed by Creative Services are proofed and edited based on University guidelines for writing and style. Letters and other University communication may be emailed to the Copy Editor for review. Most proofing is completed within one–two business days.
Photography
Photography services are provided both in a controlled studio environment as well as on location for portraits, events, and general marketing. Submit a Photography Service Request to coordinate a photo shoot.
Logos
In addition to University and sub-brand logos, there are instances where logos, icons, or wordmarks are appropriate for University programs and events. Submit a Creative Service Request to begin the process. Contact the Creative Director with sub-brand logo requests.
Design
Graphic designers produce print and digital pieces such as brochures, postcards, T-shirts, posters, web banners, and PowerPoint slides to promote University events, programs, and services. Submit a Creative Service Request and select the type of project you would like to begin. Allow three four weeks for new design work and two weeks for updates to existing artwork, if possible.
Branding
Creative Services provides oversight of the University’s brand image. While this primarily revolves around logos, colors, fonts, taglines, and guidelines for writing, it also includes maintaining a consistent image of personality and culture. Visit 365xuexiwang.com/brand to learn more.
